One evening we drove into Healdsburg to go to dinner at a restaurant called "Zin". I had read about it on the website of another blogger. Just one block away from the town square. The menu is focused on locally grown, fresh food straight from the nearby farms.
For my dinner entree, I ordered their special that evening which was Chicken and Dumplings. A unique, up-scale version with whole pieces of chicken and whole roasted vegetables and two dumplings served on the side. I really enjoyed it.
We all enjoyed our visit to Zin. We left happy and satisfied. There is a focus on simple food, prepared well, with a bit of an upward twist. Loved this little display of pickled vegetables and relishes by the front door.
